Last year, SiM’s “The Rumbling,” which served as the theme song for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2, made an impact across the globe. It achieved the top spot on the U.S. hard rock billboard chart and garnered 10 million playbacks within the first week of its release on music streaming platforms.

SiM’s latest song for the anime, “Under the Tree,” has also been met with widespread acclaim. Pony Canyon announced on Wednesday that the song, which serves as the theme song for Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1, surpassed 10 million streams in just 10 days after its release.

Notably, “Under the Tree” debuted at #10 on the US Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs chart in the week of March 18. Additionally, it ranked within the top 10 in the iTunes Store Rock genre rankings in 18 countries and entered the Apple Music Rock genre rankings. The song also ranked on the Shazam TOP200 in 32 countries.
On March 9, the song achieved first place in QQ MUSIC and KUGO MUSIC’s J-POP ranking, which is China’s largest music distribution service. This ranking is updated every Thursday.
In addition, the special anime featuring “Under the Tree” has surpassed 6 million views on YouTube in just 10 days after being streamed by Pony Canyon immediately after the anime broadcast. As of Friday, the video has been viewed over 7 million times.
Meanwhile, “The Rumbling” has amassed over 200 million views worldwide, and its official related videos, including music videos, have garnered over 100 million views.
The first half of the Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS anime aired as a one-hour special on March 4, with the second half set to premiere this fall. The anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
