A fresh trailer for the anime adaptation of the Compass mixed media project titled “#Compass 2.0: Sentou Setsuri Kaiseki System” has been unveiled. Moreover, a manga project is also currently under development. The announcement regarding the new trailer for the Compass anime was made at the project’s event stage, which took place on April 30th, during the Nico Nico Super Conference 2023.

Tatesc Comic, a subsidiary of Kadokawa, has recently disclosed that the Compass mixed media project will be expanded into the manga realm with three separate titles. These manga series will feature the characters Tadaomi Ōka and Gustav Heydrich, Rinne Itomeguri, and Reiya, and will be illustrated by Ryuse, Mano, and Chamooi in full-color.
The Compass anime project is part of the larger mixed media initiative that centers around the mobile game #COMPASS—Combat Providence Analysis System, which was released in 2020 and is accessible on both Android and iOS devices. Developed by NHN PlayArt and Dwango, the game is a real-time online strategy game that requires players to form teams of three and battle against opposing teams to capture points located on a virtual map.
