On Sunday, Crunchyroll made an announcement regarding the third season of the popular anime, Dr. Stone, stating that it will be streaming on their platform under the title “Dr. Stone: New World.” The streaming will begin on April 6 at 10:30 a.m. EDT, and an English dub with the original cast will be available on April 20 at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The company will later release dubbed versions in other languages including German, French, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, and Italian.

The anime’s staff also confirmed that the season will run for two cours, divided into different broadcast seasons. In Japan, the premiere will take place on April 6 at 10:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EDT). Furthermore, a trailer for the anime has been released on Crunchyroll, showcasing Huwie Ishizaki’s song “Wasure Gataki.”

Francois’ character in the show will now be voiced by Maaya Sakamoto, who is joining the cast.
The first television anime for Dr. Stone made its debut in July 2019, with Crunchyroll streaming the first season as it aired and Funimation streaming a dub of the season. The anime also premiered on Toonami in August 2019. The second season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, premiered in January 2021, and Crunchyroll streamed the series worldwide except in Asia, with Funimation streaming an English dub. The anime made its debut on Toonami in May 2021. Additionally, a one-hour anime special, Dr. Stone: Ryusui, aired on July 10.
Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock) and Riichirou Inagaki (author of Eyeshield 21) launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017 and ended the series in March 2022. Viz Media is publishing the manga both digitally and in print, while MANGA Plus is publishing it digitally in English. The manga’s final volume, the 26th, was released in July 2022, with a fanbook following in August 2022 in Japan.
