On Friday, the Dropkick on My Devil! (Jashin-chan Dropkick) television anime’s official website announced that a new spinoff television anime episode called Jashin-chan Dropkick: Seikimatsu-hen (Dropkick on My Devil! Apocalypse Arc) is set to debut on the BS NTV channel in winter 2023. The Trailer and Visual also Released:

The website clarifies that this television spinoff is distinct from the fourth season of the anime, which was crowdfunded. The upcoming spinoff episode will be animated by Makaria, unlike the previous anime.

Dropkick on My Devil!
The anime’s initial season premiered in July 2018, and it is exclusively streaming on Amazon Prime Video within and outside of Japan. In October 2018, Amazon Prime Video released the final bonus episode. The second season, Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash, which consisted of 11 episodes, premiered in April 2020. All of its episodes were streamed by Crunchyroll.
Dropkick on My Devil! X, the third season of the anime, premiered in July 2022. Its episodes were streamed by Crunchyroll as they aired. This season also had a successful crowdfunding campaign from September 2020 to December 2020, with 2,880 backers who raised 36,181,238 yen (about US$351,100). A campaign backer pledged 1.1 million yen (about US$10,000) to name the season, expressing the hope that “Yurine and Jashin-chan will continue to cross each other and fight forever.”
The original manga by Yukiwo was launched in Flex Comix’s web magazine Comic Meteor in April 2012 and is still ongoing. In November 2021, the crowdfunding campaign for the anime’s fourth season met its initial goal of 30 million yen (about US$235,000) within 35 minutes of its launch. The campaign ultimately raised 115,964,266 yen (about US$865,200). The staff submitted an application to the Guinness World Record for the most money raised by an anime production project.
