Daisuke Hagiwara adapted HERO’s Hori-san to Miyamura-kun four-panel school comedy manga into the Horimiya manga, which was serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine in 2011 and concluded in March 2021 under HERO’s supervision. Square Enix released the 16th and final compiled volume of the manga in July 2021, while Yen Press published the 15th volume in the same month. In July 2021, Hagiwara created an epilogue chapter for the manga.
A television anime adaptation of the manga premiered in Japan in February 2021, which was streamed by Funimation with an English dub.
