On Wednesday, the official website for the anime adaptation of Aki Murakami’s manga I give my virginity to Soushi Sazanami. Now, let’s take our time to love her. titled “Sazanami Sōshi ni Junketsu o Sasagu” posted a promotional video. The video showcases the anime’s theme song “Virgin Moonlight” and features Yoshiki Nakajima, the voice actor for the main character Soushi Sazanami in the on-air version, performing the theme song in character and narrating the video.
The debut episode of the anime will be showcased exclusively on AnimeFesta in March. Subsequently, it will be available for streaming on YouTube and Niconico from April 2 at 24:00 (effectively, April 3 at midnight). The on-air version will be streamed free of cost on all services, while the more elaborate premium version will be exclusively available on AnimeFesta. Additionally, the anime will also air on Tokyo MX and BS11 television channels on April 2 at 25:00 (effectively, April 3 at 1:00 a.m.).

Studio Hōkiboshi is producing the anime adaptation of the manga, with Sanae Nagi (Everything for Demon King Evelogia) serving as director. Eeyo Kurosaki (The Titan’s Bride, Overflow) is responsible for penning the scripts, while Katsuyuki Sato (known for Fire in His Fingertips -My Childhood Friend is a Fireman-, My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex, Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!) is in charge of character design. Sato is also one of the chief animation directors along with Seiya Misawa, Kazuya Shiroda, Binme, and Rena Nasu. Hiromi Nishiyama is directing the sound at Studio Mausu.
The manga, which revolves around Nagisa, a 26-year-old virgin office worker looking to overcome her shyness, was launched on the Comic Cmoa website in March 2021 by the author, Murakami. The first compiled volume of the manga was published by Suiseisha in February 2022, and the third volume is scheduled to be released on March 17. Nagisa meets Sazanami, a yakuza member, during a trip and embarks on a romantic relationship with him after spending a night together.
