On Friday, the team behind the anime adaptation of Miku’s writing and Rein Kuwashima’s illustration, “I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World” (or “Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru”) light novel series, unveiled two fresh visuals for the show.

The anime project “UNLIMITED PRODUCE” by TMS is currently in charge of planning and production. Meanwhile, the animation is being produced by Millepensee. The chief director, Shin Itagaki (known for “Teekyū” franchise and “So I’m a Spider, So What?”), is overseeing the series scripts as well. The director of the anime is Shingo Tanabe (known for his work on “So I’m a Spider, So What?” and “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean”). Adapting the characters for animation from Rein Kuwashima’s original designs and serving as the chief animation director is Hiromi Kimura. The music for the anime is being composed by Akiyuki Tateyama. The opening theme song, “Gyakuten Geki” (Turnabout Drama), is being performed by Tsukuyomi.
Story
A chance to come back! A mysterious door stands open, inviting a boy who’s been brutally bullied all his life to take a courageous step forward into the unknown. On the other side, he finds a hoard of priceless artifacts and a world as filled with magic as it is with monsters. The most shocking revelation, however, is that he can bring whatever he wants back with him when he returns to Earth. It won’t be long before this double life changes him forever…
The book franchise of this series has achieved a remarkable feat with 2 million copies currently in circulation around the world. As for the latest releases, the 12th light novel was made available in Japan on December 20th, while the fourth volume of the manga was shipped on December 26th.
