Mount Kinabalu is a must-visit destination for many Malaysians, and while climbing it is already challenging enough, some people choose to take it to the next level. One such individual is Nobutaka Sada, a Japanese tailor who recently gained viral attention for scaling the majestic mountain in a blue business suit and brown leather shoes.

Recently, videos of Nobutaka Sada went viral on TikTok, as fellow hikers spotted the Japanese tailor on a mission while donning a suit. In one of the videos, a man can be heard asking Sada where he was headed in that attire.

With a grin on his face, Sada replied, “I have a business meeting at the top of the mountain (Mt. Kinabalu).” In another video, Sada was seen having successfully made his way to the top, where he posed for photos at the peak, presumably as part of his “business meeting”.

While many of us might have thought that Nobutaka Sada had an actual business meeting on the peak of Mount Kinabalu, it has been revealed that the whole thing was simply a promotional stunt to showcase the quality and durability of Sada’s family suit business.

In a Facebook post, Sada explained, “SADA’s custom-made suits are suitable for climbing Mount Kinabalu. We climbed 2,300 meters in the tropical humidity and rain, but SADA’s suits were able to maintain their quality and level of comfort, making it possible to attend business meetings in them!”
He Also Said, ““In addition, I was able to stay in a hut in the middle of the starlight, climb up a steep climb, and enjoy the light at the top of the mountain!””
