Some notable changes are taking place behind the scenes, as Shōta Goshozono, known for directing episodes 8 and 17 of Jujutsu Kaisen, steps in as the new director, replacing Sunghoo Park. Additionally, there are new cast members joining the team, including Anna Nagase as Riko Amanai and Takehito Koyasu as Toji Fushiguro. The ending theme song “Akari” (Lantern) will be performed by Soushi Sakiyama, adding a melodious touch to the series.

It’s worth mentioning that the Jujutsu Kaisen television anime first premiered in October 2020 and garnered immense popularity. Crunchyroll streamed the anime worldwide (excluding Asia) in various languages, such as English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German. The franchise also expanded with the release of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film in December 2021. The film opened in Japan with English subtitles and later received an English dub release in the U.S. and Canada in March 2022.

Gege Akutami’s manga journey began in March 2018 when Jujutsu Kaisen was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Viz Media has been publishing the manga both digitally and in print, while Shueisha distributes the digital version through its MANGA Plus service.

The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film, based on Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Kōtō Senmon Gakkō (Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School) manga prequel story, further expands the captivating world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
