According to the 11th issue of Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior magazine, Mami Tsumura’s manga “Kotaro Lives Alone” will conclude in two chapters. If the manga doesn’t take a break, it will end in the magazine’s 13th issue on June 9. The manga, which began serialization in 2015, has already released its ninth volume in June 2022 and won the Electronic Manga Award in 2018.

The story follows a 4-year-old boy named Kotarō Satо̄, who lives alone without any parents and moves in next door to an unsuccessful manga artist named Shin Karino. Despite his young age, Kotarō manages to earn a living and appears more capable than his peculiar neighbors. The manga is described as an “apartment comedy with laughs and tears.”
