AnimeFesta made an announcement on Friday revealing the staff and the anticipated debut date of Fūfu Kōkan, the TV anime adaptation of Peter Mitsuru’s adult manga, (Marriage Exchange: Amazing Extramarital S.x Compared to My Husband) Fūfu Kōkan: Otto Yori Sugoi Kongai S.x.

Makoto Sokuza will take the helm as the director, leading the production at Studio Hōkiboshi. Eeyo Kurosaki is entrusted with the series composition, while Maki Hashimoto assumes the roles of character designer and chief animation director. Hisayoshi Hirasawa serves as the sound director, with Studio Mausu handling sound production.
The main cast will be announced on May 26th, and the theme song will be announced in June.
The manga’s first compiled volume was released in November 2022, and fans can look forward to a new volume coming out in July.
Launched in April 2017, the AnimeFesta anime programming block has undergone name changes over time. Most of the anime series featured on this block are available in two versions: a “broadcast” edition (censored version for TV) and a “premium” uncensored version distributed online. The programming block is operated by WWWave Corporation, which also releases many anime titles in English on its Coolmic website.
Story:
Two married couples who have been friends since their days as students. The two couples go to a hot spring together as a double date, and by accident get wrapped up in a “marriage exchange.”
The anime will initially premiere exclusively on the AnimeFesta website for streaming in mid-June, followed by its broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS11 in July.
