At a preview screening for the television adaptation of Hajime Kōmoto’s Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga, the anime’s complete promotional video, second key visual, additional cast and staff members, theme song performers, and April 7 debut were revealed.
The opening theme song “Knock Out” for the anime will be performed by Taiiku Okazaki, while the ending theme song “Shū Cream Funk” (Cream Puff Funk) will be performed by the musical group Philosophy no Dance.

Staff
The anime is being directed by Tomonari Tanaka, known for his work on Engage Kiss and Visual Prison, and produced by A-1 Pictures. Yousuke Kuroda, who has previously worked on all six seasons of My Hero Academia and Mobile Suit Gundam 00, is responsible for the series scripts. Hisashi Higashijima, known for his key animation work on Tada Never Falls in Love, is serving as the character designer. The music for the anime is being composed by Masaru Yokoyama, who has previously worked on 2019’s Fruits Basket and Astra Lost in Space.
Release Date
The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 7 at 24:00 on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 channels. It will subsequently air on other channels. For viewers in the Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) timezone, this effectively means that the anime will premiere on April 8 at midnight, or on April 7 at 11:00 a.m. EDT.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga started serializing in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) in 2020. The manga circulation has exceeded 3 million. The manga entered, the final arc in the 12th volume.
