A new collaboration between the popular franchise Attack on Titan and the battle-royale game Fortnite is slated to launch on April 11. The game has teased the addition of fan-favorite characters Levi and Mikasa Ackerman, with further details to be revealed soon. For now, only a teaser video with the caption “Dedicate your hearts” is available.
Fortnite X Anime Colab
Fortnite is well-known for its collaborations with major franchises, such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Junji Ito’s stories. Attack on Titan, based on a manga series by Hajime Isayama, was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021, with the manga concluding in April 2021 after 139 chapters compiled into 34 volumes. The final volume was released in June 2021.
WIT Studio adapted the manga into an anime series in 2013, followed by season 2 in 2017 and season 3 split into two cours airing in Summer 2018 and Spring 2019. Studio MAPPA took over the franchise for the 4th season, titled Attack on Titan Final Season, which aired in December 2020 with 16 episodes. Part 2 of Attack on Titan Final Season then aired in the Winter 2022 season.
After the final episode in March, a big final project was announced, which will be split into two special episodes. The first episode, licensed by Crunchyroll as Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1, aired in March, with the second part scheduled for release in the fall.
