On Sunday, the AnimeJapan 2023 special stage panel unveiled the latest promotional video and visual for the second season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. The video reveals that the second season will premiere in July 2023 and features the returning main cast, as well as updates on the main staff.

Studio Bind’s new director for the series is Hiroki Hirano, who replaces Manabu Okamoto, and Toshiya Ono takes over as the series script supervisor. Sanae Shimada is the new character designer. Masakazu Miyake and Makiko Doi return as the sole art director and color key artist, respectively.
The returning staff also includes Shinji Tonsho as the compositing director of photography, Akinori Mishima as the editor, Jin Aketagawa as the sound director, Tsutomu Ueno as the sound effects artist, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as the musical composer. EGG FIRM is producing.
Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed both Rifujin na Magonote’s original main light novel series and Yuka Fujikawa’s manga adaptation. The company has also licensed the Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious spinoff manga by Shōko Iwami.
Rifujin na Magonote initially serialized the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō! the website from 2012 to 2015, and Kadokawa’s MF Books imprint began publishing a print version in 2014. The 25th volume was released in September 2021.
The anime adaptation’s first part premiered in January 2021, followed by the second part in October 2021 after a delay from its original July release date. Funimation streamed the season, and Crunchyroll and Hulu are now streaming the anime, including the unaired side-story original video anime episode “Eris the Goblin Slayer.”
