Oshi no Ko Drops From Top-Ranked Anime On Myanimelist

The anime version of Aka Akasaka’s manga “Oshi no Ko” made a big impact on the otaku community with its impressive debut, climbing to the top spot on the best anime ranking on MAL and breaking records in various other areas. However, as time passed, “Oshi no Ko” was dethroned from the top spot. Who took its place, you may ask? It’s none other than “Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood”.

Myanimelist Top Rank Anime

Currently on Myanimelist The Top 5 Anime with Highest Rating are:

1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood with 9.10.
2. Oshi no Ko
with 9.08.
3. Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season – Kanketsu-hen with 9.08.
4. Steins;Gate with 9.08.
5. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War with 9.07.

Is it safe to assume that this is a typical phenomenon? It’s not uncommon for ratings to skyrocket when a highly anticipated anime is finally released, but over time, the hype tends to die down and the scores gradually decrease. If my memory serves me correctly, the same thing occurred with “SPY x FAMILY.”
