The Twitter account that represents Record of Ragnarok II, which is the second season of the anime adaptation of Shinya Umemura, Ajichika, and Takumi Fukui’s Record of Ragnarok (Shūmatsu no Walküre) manga, has released the third promotional video for the first part of the anime. The video showcases Masatoshi Ono’s ending theme song, “Inori” (Prayer).

The Record of Ragnarok II’s first part is set to air on Japanese TV on April 14th. Additionally, Cartoon Network Japan will broadcast the entire first season on April 3rd to commemorate Warner Bros.’ 100th anniversary. The anime’s first 10 episodes premiered on Netflix on January 26th, with the remaining five episodes scheduled to debut later this year.

Masao Ookubo, who previously directed Onegai My Melody Yū & Ai and Gekijōban PriPara: Mi~nna de Kagayake! Kirarin Star Live, will return to direct the second season at Graphinica and Yumeta Company. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, known for his work on Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! and By the Grace of the Gods, will handle the series composition once again, alongside Yuka Yamada from Aikatsu!. Masaki Satō will be responsible for character design, and Yasuharu Takanashi, known for his work on Fairy Tail and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, will compose the music. Yasunori Ebina, who previously worked on Naruto, will handle sound direction again.
The first season of Record of Ragnarok premiered exclusively on Netflix worldwide in June 2021.
The manga series, Shūmatsu no Walküre, debuted in Comic Zenon magazine in November 2017, featuring a story written by Shinya Umemura and art drawn by Ajichika. The composition credit goes to Takumi Fukui.
In October 2019, a spinoff titled Ryo Fu Hō Sen Hishōden (The Legend of Lu Bu Fengxiang The Flying General) also launched in Comic Zenon, which concluded with its seventh volume in December.
