Who is Cammy?
Cammy White, commonly known as just Cammy, is a character in the popular fighting game franchise Street Fighter. She first appeared in 1993’s Super Street Fighter II as a secret character and has since become a fan favorite.
Cammy is a British fighter who was originally a member of a special forces unit called Delta Red. She was brainwashed and trained by the villainous M. Bison to become one of his personal assassins. However, she later regained her memories and turned against Bison, joining the Street Fighter roster to take down the evil organization Shadaloo.
Cammy is known for her speed, agility, and powerful kicks, and is one of the few Street Fighter characters who does not use fireballs or other traditional martial arts techniques. Her fighting style is based on a mix of gymnastics and kickboxing.
In terms of appearance, Cammy has gone through several design changes throughout the Street Fighter series. Her classic outfit features a green leotard, red beret, and combat boots, but she has also been depicted wearing a military uniform and a catsuit in other games. In the upcoming Street Fighter 6, Cammy is set to receive a new look that replaces her classic outfit.
