On Monday, the official website for the anime series The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! (with two exclamation points) released a new promotional video for the show’s sequel. The video confirms that the anime’s 3rd season will premiere on television in July, and introduces additional cast members and returning staff.

Although the new series is titled “2nd season,” this is only in reference to the previous The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! series (which has two exclamation points), and not the first The Devil is a Part-Timer! anime series (which only has one exclamation point). The upcoming July series will be the third overall television anime season for the franchise.
The Cast Members:
The voice cast for the anime series The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! includes Ryota Ohsaka as Sadao Maō/Demon King Satan, Yōko Hikasa as Emi Yusa/Heroine Emilia, Nao Tōyama as Chiho Sasaki, Yūki Ono as Shirō Ashiya/Demon General Alciel, Hiro Shimono as Hanzō Urushihara/Demon General Lucifer, Kanae Itō as Suzuno Kamazuki, and Hina Kino as Alas Ramus. Madoka Asahina will be joining the cast as Acieth Alla.
The first season of The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! premiered in July 2022 and began streaming exclusively on Disney+ Japan at the same time. Crunchyroll also streamed the show as it aired in Japan.
Daisuke Tsukushi (known for Isekai Cheat Magician and Girl Friend Note) and Studio 3Hz are taking over from Naoto Hosoda and White Fox for the new season. Masahiro Yokotani, Ryosuke Nakanishi, Akemi Tejima (Wish), Jin Aketagawa, and Lantis are returning as the series script supervisor, musical composer, color key artist, and music production company, respectively. Character designer Yūdai Iino and chief animation director Yoshihiro Takeda are replacing Atsushi Ikariya, who held both roles in the first season. Minami Kuribayashi, who performed the opening theme song “ZERO!!” for the first season, is returning to perform the new season’s opening theme song “WITH.”
The first television anime adaptation of The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! premiered in 2013, with Funimation streaming the show as it aired and releasing it on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2014.
Satoshi Wagahara launched the light novel series with illustrations by 029 in 2011. Hiiragi’s manga adaptation began in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in December 2011, and Kurone Mishima drew another manga spinoff titled Hataraku Maou-sama! High School! in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine from 2012 to 2015. Yen Press published all five volumes of the manga.
In August 2021, the ComicWalker website launched a gourmet-themed manga spinoff titled Hataraku Maou-sama! no Meshi!, which is based on the latest spinoff volume of the light novel series with the same title. The manga is drawn by Oji Sadō. The novel volume was released in February 2019.
