The teaser visual and main staff of the TV anime “The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3” has been released.

This was announced at the panel of “The Rising of the Shield Hero” at “Crunchyroll Expo 2022”, the largest anime convention in North America. The Announcement also reveals the Director Changed. Hitoshi Haga, who storyboarded five episodes and directed four episodes from the anime’s first season, will be the third season’s new director.
The Rising of the Shield Hero story-
Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who spends his days on games and manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe! He discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons and tasked with saving the world from its prophesied destruction. As the Shield Hero, the weakest of the heroes, all is not as it seems. Naofumi is soon alone, penniless, and betrayed. With no one to turn to, and nowhere to run, he is left with only his shield. Now, Naofumi must rise to become the legendary Shield Hero and save the world!
The Rising of the Shield Hero is a Japanese dark fantasy isekai light novel series written by Aneko Yusagi and illustrated by Seira Minami. Originally published as a web novel on the user-generated novel site Shōsetsuka ni Narō, the series has since been published by Media Factory with an expanded storyline featuring illustrations by Seira Minami. As of June 25, 2019, twenty-two volumes have been published.

The novel series was adapted into a manga series by Aiya Kyū and published by Media Factory.
