On Sunday, the official Twitter account for the television adaptation of Yoshitoki Ōima’s To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) manga confirmed the show’s renewal for a third season. According to the account’s teaser, the upcoming season will continue with Fushi’s journey and cover the “This World” arc.

On Sunday, the 20th and final episode of the second season of the To Your Eternity anime aired in Japan. The season premiered on NHK Educational on October 23, and Crunchyroll streamed the series worldwide except in Asia, including an English dub.

The anime’s first season initially faced a delay due to production challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, but it eventually premiered on NHK Educational in April 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime globally.
Yoshitoki Ōima began publishing the To Your Eternity manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in November 2016, with the first arc concluding in December 2019. The second arc began in January 2020 and ended in October 2022. The manga’s third arc launched on January 25, 2023.
Simultaneously with its Japanese release, the To Your Eternity manga is being published in English digitally by Crunchyroll.
In May 2019, the manga was recognized with the Best Shōnen Manga award at the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards. Additionally, it was listed as one of the Great Graphic Novels for Teens by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) of the American Library Association (ALA) in 2019.
